The Painting Growth Program

Painting Business Consulting That Connects Marketing, Sales and Operations

A focused, paid consulting engagement to help you understand what is holding growth back, choose the right priorities and put agreed improvements into practice.

We build your Program around the problem that matters most, whether that is estimate follow-up, marketing performance or planning work around your crews.

Start with a complimentary 45-minute discovery call. Scope, timeline and fee are reviewed together before you decide.

What the Painting Growth Program includes

Your Program brings the relevant numbers, decisions and work into one practical plan. The proposal identifies the business priorities being addressed and the deliverables for each.

  1. A useful baseline

A review of the marketing, sales or operating information relevant to your scope. Establish where you are starting, what can be measured and which information is missing.

  2. A prioritized 90-day action plan

Selected improvements with clear next steps, responsibilities and measures. The plan considers your budget, workload and the decisions needed to move forward.

  3. Agreed implementation

Practical work on the priorities in your proposal. This might include a follow-up process, reporting template or targeted page improvement, with responsibilities agreed before work starts.

  4. A review and clear next steps

Review the completed work and available performance information. Clarify what your business should maintain, what needs more time and whether further support would be useful.

A defined scope from the beginning. Your proposal sets the work included, meeting schedule, responsibilities, delivery timeline and fee. The 90-day action plan describes the planning horizon; the engagement length is agreed separately.

What could your Program focus on?

These are examples of possible scopes. We select the priorities that fit your situation and investment. Your proposal confirms which outputs are included.

Estimate follow-up

Give open estimates a clear next step.

Estimates are being sent, but follow-up depends on who remembers to call.

Possible deliverable
A follow-up schedule, message templates, clear ownership and a simple way to track outstanding estimates.
What to review
Follow-up completion, customer responses and the status of open estimates.

Lead-source performance

See which inquiries become sold work.

Marketing produces activity, but you cannot confidently connect it to estimates and jobs.

Possible deliverable
A reporting structure that connects available source, spend, inquiry, estimate and sales information, with gaps identified.
What to review
Inquiries, estimates, jobs sold and cost per won job where the records support it.

Sales scorecard

Make sales performance easier to manage.

You know how busy the business feels, but the numbers are difficult to compare.

Possible deliverable
A concise scorecard with agreed definitions, a reporting period and an owner for each measure.
What to review
Estimates completed, jobs sold, closing rate and average job size.

Marketing and crew capacity

Plan demand around the work you can deliver.

Some weeks are overbooked while future production gaps receive attention too late.

Possible deliverable
Marketing priorities and a schedule informed by your booked work, sales cycle, preferred projects and crew availability.
What to review
Upcoming production gaps, suitable estimate opportunities and bookings against capacity.

Who the Painting Growth Program is for

The Program suits painting company owners who are ready to improve a specific part of the business and put time and budget behind the work.

You may operate one crew or several. You might need more suitable inquiries, better sales conversion or a clearer way to decide where marketing investment should go.

During discovery, we consider your goals, current workload, available information and ability to implement changes. The starting point depends on your business.

The Program is a consulting engagement with agreed deliverables. It does not supply lists of homeowner contacts.

A good fit when you can:

  • Describe a business problem or outcome worth working on.
  • Invest in paid support if the proposed scope makes sense.
  • Share relevant information and involve the decision-maker.
  • Make time for decisions and the actions assigned to your business.

Start with discovery. Decide after the proposal.

  1. Tell us about the business.

Complete the growth-call form with your main challenge, business details and approximate initial investment. Then choose a discovery-call time.

  2. Have a 45-minute discovery call.

Discuss your goals, marketing, sales process, workload and constraints so we can assess whether there is a suitable engagement.

  3. Review the proposed Program.

If there is a fit, a second conversation covers scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timeline, fee and any separate costs.

  4. Begin the agreed work.

Detailed analysis, action planning and implementation begin after you accept the engagement and its terms.

The discovery call is complimentary. It helps us understand the business and assess fit. Detailed analysis and the action plan are part of the paid Program.

What we need from you

Your involvement helps turn recommendations into changes the business can maintain. We agree on the time, information and responsibilities required before work starts.

Relevant information

Share the records needed for the scope, such as inquiry sources, estimates, sales, marketing spend or your production schedule. We identify gaps and agree on any account access required.

Timely decisions

The owner or decision-maker takes part in working sessions, provides feedback and approves changes. A team member can help maintain the process where appropriate.

Follow-through

Complete the tasks assigned to your business and keep the agreed records current. Your proposal distinguishes the work we deliver from the actions your team owns.

Investment, scope and separate costs

Priced around the agreed work

Review the fee before you commit.

The Painting Growth Program is a paid service. Your fee depends on the priorities, deliverables and level of implementation agreed after discovery.

Share an approximate initial investment in the application. This is the budget you could put toward improving the business; advertising spend is considered separately when relevant.

The proposal confirms the fee, payment terms, timeline and responsibilities. Any change to the scope is discussed and agreed before additional work begins.

What is outside the initial scope?

The Program covers the deliverables listed in your proposal. The following require separate agreement when needed:

  • Advertising spend and third-party software fees.
  • Full website rebuilds and substantial content production.
  • Ongoing campaign management or ongoing SEO delivery.
  • Extensive recruiting projects or day-to-day business management.
  • Additional implementation and ongoing support after the initial Program.

A Program can address selected marketing, sales or operational priorities. It does not include a complete overhaul of every area of the business.

Ongoing painting business coaching and support

Once the initial Program is complete, you can continue with optional support to review performance, work through decisions and keep agreed improvements moving.

Painting business coaching can help the owner establish a review routine, use the scorecard and follow through on priorities as the business changes.

The focus, meeting frequency, implementation responsibilities and fee are agreed separately. You can also take the completed work forward with your own team.

  • Review progress. Use the agreed measures to see what needs attention.
  • Adjust priorities. Reconsider the next steps as workload, results and capacity change.
  • Support decisions. Work through business questions with practical coaching and accountability.
  • Continue selected work. Add follow-on implementation where it is specifically agreed.

Painting business consulting questions

What is the difference between consulting and coaching?

Consulting focuses on understanding a business problem, recommending improvements and delivering agreed work. Coaching helps you make decisions and follow through. The Painting Growth Program can combine both, with the balance defined in your proposal. If you are looking for a business coach for painters, discovery helps us understand the support you need.

Can the Program focus on sales or operations if we already have enough leads?

Yes. The priority may be estimate follow-up, sales conversion, job mix, production planning or using the numbers to make better decisions. We agree on the part of the business that needs attention.

Can we work together if we already have a marketing agency?

Yes. We discuss what your current provider handles and where you still need help. Your scope can focus on areas such as inquiry handling, sales reporting or coordination between marketing and production, with responsibilities agreed before work starts.

Does the Program include website, SEO, sales and recruiting work?

Only the work listed in your proposal is included. A Program might focus on one area or a small set of connected priorities. Website rebuilds, ongoing SEO delivery and extensive recruiting projects require separate scope and pricing.

How long does the Program take, and when will results show?

The proposal sets the delivery timeline around the agreed work, access to information and your team’s participation. The 90-day action plan is a planning horizon. Changes to a follow-up process and improvements in search visibility have different timelines, and specific leads, rankings or revenue results are not guaranteed.

How much does painting business consulting cost?

The fee is based on the agreed deliverables and implementation. After the complimentary discovery call, we review the proposed scope, fee and any separate costs in a second conversation. You decide before paid work begins.

What would make the biggest difference to your business?

Tell us where you are getting stuck and what you would like to improve. Start with a conversation about your business and whether the Painting Growth Program is a suitable next step.
